The coronavirus has unfortunately gotten in the way of Hammadoun Sidibe’s plans. This year's Quai 54 tournament is officially cancelled. Its sponsor Jordan Brand, on the other hand, is releasing its iterations, which the label has planned for the said streetball tournament. Now, the leaks from the last version have also surfaced.

The Air Jordan 1 Low "Quai 54" resembles the Air Jordan 6 "Quai 54". The cream leather overlays and the abstract mustard yellow/brown pattern are identical and rather remind us of the pandemic in 2020 and not of the event in Paris. Red brandings and a brown rubber sole complete the overall design.

After several weeks, Nike finally delivers the official pictures of the Air Jordan 6 "Quai 54". The model looks different than many have suspected. High-quality leather side panels and abstract patterns decorate this sneaker. Additional Quai symbols on the right sneaker as well as red details complete the overall design.

As we can see in the official pictures of the Air Jordan 6 "Quai 54", we could assume that the sneakers will be released in just a few days. A drop in July would be possible.

Since 2002, we have been watching the big streetball tournament in Paris every summer on the last weekend of June. Hammadoun Sidibe was the great founder of this tournament and Jordan Brand agreed years ago to support the event as its only sponsor.

This year, however, things could probably be different. Official information from the government is still missing, but it is suspected that the event will be postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic. It seems that the sport is currently in a rather unfortunate limbo.

Jordan Brand is apparently looking to celebrate the big event nonetheless. Pictures of possible sneakers that are supposed to be part of the Jordan Quai 54 collection have already appeared on the net. This year, we could expect five sneakers from the Jumpman: the Air Jordan 1 Low, two Air Jordan 6s, a Jordan AJNT23, and a Jordan Break Slide are all part of the collection.

If you take a look at the first possible pics of the sneakers, you might think that the colour scheme this year belongs to a more subdued range. Deep brown and Team Orange tones are part of the basic equipment. Team Orange adorns the overlays and the Swoosh on the AJ1 Low and the middle inserts along the midsole on the AJ6.

The sneakers should be released in the next few weeks and months. The confirmation of Jordan Brand is still missing.
