Fragment Brings Back the Converse Weapon

In 1986, the Converse Weapon was launched and quickly became a symbol for teams, games and people who love basketball culture. Now the Weapon returns as an OG, thanks to a new collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment.

The FRGMT x Converse Weapon features an all-leather upper with colour blocks found on the collar bottom, Star Chevron logo bottom and toe box. A Fragment Design logo is embossed on the side heel counter, highlighting the design house's understated brand. Staying true to the original shape of the silhouette, the leather woven tongue features an original Converse Weapon branding label and terry lining.

Inspired by Converse's sporty past, the realisation stays true to both FRGMT's distinctive style and the original shape of the Weapon. With a minimalist approach and the iconic Sport Royal blue and black, the collection presents a colour combination reserved for previous collaborations with FRGMT. Also, expect the labels to drop a matching clothing collection consisting of a wool body jacket, French-terry hoodie and two casual jersey shirts. Both the sneakers and apparel will be released worldwide on May 11th.
