The Salomon ACS Pro gets a new collaboration, this time with Afro-vegan restaurant Jah Jah. The Paris-based restaurant was founded in 2017 by Coralie Jouhier and Daquisiline Gomis to create community, tell stories and push boundaries by reinventing Caribbean and African dishes. Jah Jah x Salomon ACS Pro - an exciting new partnership that combines fashion, culinary and creativity.
Jah Jah and Salomon have collaborated on the ACS Pro model, which pays homage to the Kankurang - an initiation ritual practiced in Senegal, Gambia and Guinea-Bissau. The central figure of the Kankurang is the guardian of ancestral customs and traditions, who maintains social order and a sense of community.
Jah Jah designed the ACS Pro in dark colours that are present in Yoff, a coastal community in Dakar - exactly where the campaign for the collaboration was shot. In Europe, the Jah Jah x Salomon will be online in the Salomon Online Shop from 28 September for 195€.
