Gigi Embroidery on the Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Gigi"

Finally, the official images of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Mambacita" have surfaced. In addition to the already known details, there are also inscribed insoles and printed Gigi laces. This new pair is said to be released in just a few days. The sneakers will reportedly drop on May 1st, in celebration of Gigi's birthday, via Nike SNKRS and at selected retailers.

Nike is honouring the late Kobe Bryant in a big way as the brand continues to celebrate the memory of his beloved daughter Gigi. The new Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Gigi" will soon be released as part of Nike's new deal with Vanessa Bryant, just a year after they released the Nike Kobe 6 Prototype "Mambacita Sweet 16" in honour of Gigi's 16th birthday.

 

Unsurprisingly, Nike gave the Nike Kobe 4 Protro a striking black and white colour scheme to symbolise the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation jerseys. This Nike Kobe 4 Protro is a tribute to Gigi in more ways than one, as her name is embroidered on the heel collar, and gold is used for the Nike logo.

 

Nike is showing its respect and admiration for the Bryant family with these amazing shoe designs, and it's safe to say that this latest addition to the collection won't disappoint us either. The pair is not yet confirmed, but it is set to be released around May 1st, which would have been Gigi's 17th birthday.
