Hottest Brands Q3 2020 - Gucci Takes the Lead

Lyst is once again publishing the latest report with the hottest brands in the third quarter of 2020, and we are really amazed by the development. Gucci took the lead in the penultimate quarter and is now above Off-White and Nike. Will the luxury fashion house be able to keep up the lead?

In the second quarter of 2020, Nike was still at the No. 1 spot of the Hottest Brands of 2020, but according to Lyst, the Beaverton label has to give up the crown as Gucci is now at the top. It is probably due to the livestream of the Epilogue collection and the new Fall/Winter 2020 collection. A total of 35 million viewers watched the livestream, and the latest collection attracted some new fashion enthusiasts to the shops.

Off-White proudly continues to hold second place on Lyst's Hottest Brands Q3 2020 list. The label had some new products to offer this year, with the concept car with Mercedes Benz especially attracting attention. Off-White also opened new shops in London, Miami, and Milan.

Nike slid from first place to third place. The brand with the Swoosh already had to deal with some setbacks this year due to the coronavirus. Some stores had to be inevitably closed to protect employees and customers. On the other hand, online trade increased by a hefty 82%.
