Today, the collaborators unveiled the Extra Butter x adidas "Happy Gilmore" collection, and it turns out the collection is more extensive than originally suspected. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the classic film, the partners are dropping a special UltraBoost 1.0, a ZG21 spiked golf shoe, Adilette Boost slides, and a range of apparel.

"Twenty-five years ago, a fictional character named Happy Gilmore broke the mold of what it means to be a golfer, and we wanted to celebrate that with a unique collaboration and collection," said Extra Butter co-founder and CEO Ankur Amin. "Golf is growing exponentially across all demographics. Golfers today are more diverse, and the game is more inclusive than ever before. Golf is getting younger and moving away from its reputation as a 'dad's game' as youth culture begins to take over the sport. We wanted to be a part of that change, bring our style to the sport, and have fun with this project."

The Extra Butter x adidas "Happy Gilmore" collection drops Friday, June 25th exclusively on extrabutterny.com and at Extra Butter stores.

Boutique Extra Butter is hitting a hole-in-one with its latest project. Just in time for Happy Gilmore's 25th anniversary, the partner with adidas creates a very classy Extra Butter x Happy Gilmore x adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 "Gold Jacket". Get all the details on the new sneaker here.

This iteration is not only sure to make Happy happy, but also Shooter McGavin and the legendary Gold Jacket, which plays a role throughout the film. Deep yellow tones adorn the collaborative adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 in Primeknit, mesh, and suede.

The "Gold Jacket" also features a white Boost sole that appears to imitate a golf ball, while a white cage takes its colour cue from this. Finally, embossing in the form of a finger gun in the front area alludes to the antagonist and rounds off the homage perfectly.
