Shortly before the end of the year, the rumour mill has gotten a new lease of life. Yesterday, information about a completely new Nike Air Max silhouette, the Nike Air Max Scorpion, was published. Today, we actually have news about a re-release of one of the OGs in sneaker history. We are talking about none other than the Nike Air Max 1 OG "Big Bubble". The shoe was first released, even before the Nike Air Max 1, in 1986, exactly one year before the release of the AM1.

Rumour has it that the style will drop in its OG colourway with a white mesh upper as well as grey and red suede overlays. The highlight of this OG Air Max 1 is already in its name, because the visible Air unit is significantly larger than on the Air Max 1.

Now, we come to the bad news. According to insiders, the shoe will not even drop next year, but only in spring 2023! Absolutely nothing is confirmed from the official side, so this is just speculation. We will of course keep you updated!
