Is Nike Now Turning the Dunk Low "Argon" Colourway on Its Head?

Nike has released the official images of the Dunk Low "Dark Marina Blue". The sneaker resembles the "Argon" Dunk from 2002, with the colour scheme turned on its head with light and dark blue hits. It is made of leather and comes in "Dark Marina Blue/White/Dutch Blue". Unfortunately, Nike hasn't given a release date yet, but the Nike Dunk Low "Dark Marina Blue" will supposedly drop sometime in 2022.

At this point, we can assume that Nike still sees its Dunk Low in other colourways. Besides the new colourways, the Swoosh brand is also planning to turn the old colourways upside down. So, the Japan-exclusive Nike Dunk Low "Argon" from the early '00s will now presumably reappear.

But it's not supposed to be the OG version, but a reversed Nike Dunk Low "Un-Argon" version. The various shades of blue are simply moved up one place. Light blue now covers the base, toebox, and collar, and dark blue the overlays like the eyestays, mudguard, and lugs.

All elements are made of leather, and white details further soften the design of the sneaker. These include the white midsoles, Swooshes, and laces, while monochromatic outsoles round off the overall design.

Nike has yet to comment on the Nike Dunk Low "Un-Argon", but the sneakers are reportedly expected to drop next year.
