Out of nowhere, Jordan Brand suddenly announces the release date of the J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 High.
"I was thinking about how I could create a disruptive Air Jordan 1,” says Balvin, the first Latin American artist to work with Jordan Brand. "I wanted to be the person who really dared to change shapes and go for the whole thing. No one has ever touched the Air Jordan 1 like I did."

Nike and J Balvin have chosen a lively Air Jordan 1 High, and the result is just crazy. A sneaker with very colourful gradients and light shades reflect the personal style of J Balvin.
The sneakers are made of canvas and have a slightly deconstructed look because the protruding elements are pointed and frayed. J Balvin's emblem lands on the inner and outer sides of the tongue, while the rear Jumpman patch has a similar colour scheme.
On the upper edge, a smooth black leather appears, which matches the colour of the Wings logo. A white sole and an exposed foam tongue then complete the colourway.
The release date of the J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 High has yet to be confirmed by Nike. We will stay tuned and keep you up to date.

The multi-coloured iteration in a light tie-dye design is combined with a canvas upper. Cut-out and unfinished inserts like the mudguard or collar complete the rainbow-like 1 Jordan sneaker. In his post on Instagram, J Balvin writes, "I'm Latino and proud, but don't put us in a box, we're global."
