NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown breaks away from the big brands and breaks new ground: he launches his own performance sneaker brand called 741 Performance. After turning down advertising contracts worth over €50 million with major sneaker companies in order to retain full creative control and ownership of his products, Brown is now launching his first model - the 741 Performance Rover ‘Black Moon’.

Brown, who was previously under contract with adidas and PEAK, decided to stop playing for other brands and realise his own vision. He was inspired in particular by NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who had similar plans before his tragic death. Brown emphasises that 741 is more than just a sneaker brand - it is a statement of independence, creativity and personal responsibility.

In addition to the advanced technology of the 741 sneakers, the focus is also on affordability: the shoes are said to be more than 40 per cent cheaper than other models in the same category, especially for younger buyers.

The 741 Performance Rover ‘Black Moon’ will be officially released on the 741 Performance website on 22 October 2024. The sneakers will be available for pre-order soon.
