Jessica Gonsalves and ASICS present a pearl-coloured GEL-Nimbus 9

Following a successful collab with Tremaine Emory, Angelo Baque and Renell Madrano, ASICS is now dropping its fourth sneaker in the ASICS Collective initiative. In collaboration with Procell co-founder Jessica Gonsalves, the sportswear manufacturer has created a pearlescent GEL-Nimbus 9.

The Jessica Gonsalves x ASICS GEL-Nimbus 9 is inspired by her family's love of sailing, but instead of cool blues and or wavy graphics, the designer looks to the hidden treasures of the sea. Indeed, a shiny upper is reminiscent of the precious pearls found at the bottom of the sea.

"I am honoured to collaborate with an iconic brand like ASICS," said Gonsalves. "This shoe represents the vision and inspiration I hoped to share when I learned I would be working on my first footwear collaboration."

Dropping in just a few days, the Jessica Gonsalves x ASICS GEL-Nimbus 9 will have an exclusive release at Procell in New York City on October 22nd. A worldwide release via ASICS and selected retailers will follow on October 28th.
