JJJJound Reworks the Reebok NPC II with Clean Construction
When craftsmanship and minimalism collide, JJJound is always close. The Montreal-based label is known for its high-profile projects, especially its collabs with Reebok. The resulting Club C or the Classic Nylon have been carefully created with high-quality materials and unique colourways.
Now, Reebok and JJJound are set to drop another sneaker. Official images confirm a JJJJound x Reebok NPC II that features a low-cut shape. The silhouette originated in 1985 and was originally worn by tennis players.
"The theme was to make an everyday sneaker with a simple silhouette and construction — the generic nature of this model fits well with our ethos," said JJJJound founder Justin Saunders.
The JJJJound x Reebok NPC II has a clean look to it, with subtle stitching and a clean look taking centre stage. Side JJJJound branding then marks the collaboration with the Boston sportswear label. Inside, there is also a plush terry fabric that has a cream base.
Another interesting feature of the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II is that no two pairs are alike. Subtle design elements are mixed and matched throughout the production process, and shoppers won't know which pair they're getting.
When Will the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II Be Released?
You can now check out the first images of the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II here. At JJJJound, the sneaker drops on July 21st, followed by a worldwide release on August 5th.
