Joe Freshgoods Drops a Collaborative New Balance 990v3 This Week
"Until last year, I didn't realise how much being outside has played an important role in my career," said Joe "Freshgoods" Robinson, reflecting on the collection. "Sometimes, you have to have something taken away from you to realise what it means to you. And that's what inspired me to make this shoe. When you're told you smell like the outside, to me that represents the beginnings of fun. From neighbourhood street parties to hanging out on the porch with your buddies, you knew you were having a wild day when your mum said you smelled like the outdoors."
Will the Joe Freshgoods and New Balance collab be coming to us after all? New info confirms a worldwide drop at New Balance, as well as select retailers. Rumour has it that the apparel collection will also be released. This includes the well-known t-shirt with the print "We Miss When Outside Was Outside", as well as other tees, hoodies, shorts, pants, and socks. The release is said to be on September 10th.
