This initiative is part of Jordan Brand's commitment to breaking down educational barriers through creative projects. The latest product of this partnership is inspired by the everyday heroes of New York City - the MTA employees.

The sneaker design incorporates elements reminiscent of the NYC underground, including a colour palette that reflects the different underground lines and unique details like underground map insoles and reflective accents. Phrases like "Always Go Forward" and "Thank You For All You Do" adorn the shoe, celebrating the resilience and dedication of MTA personnel.

Key features of the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Subway" include a waterproof construction ideal for the city's traffic environment and playful reminders like "Do Not Lean On The Doors" that add an authentic NYC touch. The sneaker also features a co-branded tongue and a special Jumpman tag modelled after an underground map.
