Latest Pickup: Nike Dunk Low SE "Easter" and SE "Free.99

A lot of Dunks have already been released, but if you take a look at the release calendar now, you'll surely see a few more models dropping in the near future. Nike is still holding back a lot of colourways and distributing them with great care throughout the year. This is also the case with these two versions, which will be released in just a few weeks.

Over its 36-year lifespan, the ever-popular silhouette has taken inspiration from dozens of concepts or been the bare canvas from the most influential designers and musicians for impressive masterpieces, especially when you look at Nike SB's iterations.

For the most part, you could argue that Nike is following a wild colour scheme. The new Dunks from 2021 often have a very vibrant colour scheme, and also an asymmetrical colourway, and the Nike Dunk Low SE "Easter", as well as the Dunk Low from the "Free.99 Pack", confirm these assumptions. The next two styles play with colours and use them in different ways.

It feels very strange when we talk about "Easter" sneakers, doesn't it? Actually, we celebrated this glorious weekend days ago with some brutal sneakers, but models created for Easter 2021 are still debuting. That includes this exclusive women's shoe that has everything to be one of the most sought-after Dunks of the spring/summer 2021 season.

The Nike Dunk Low WMNS SE "Easter" is a tasty sneaker with a bold mix of colours that the Dunk fan will enjoy in 2021. Mismatched pastel colours haphazardly cover each panel. If you see a faded red on the right of the mudguard, the other side might use the hue somewhere else. The only details shared between the sneakers are the white leather base, white midsoles and yellow outsoles, similar to the Nike Dunk Low SE "Free.99".

It would make any heart beat faster if you could cop a Dunk for 99 cents. The light and dark Dunks from the latest pack are among the hottest designs in 2021, luring out the thrifty with a multiple "Free.99" price tag on the insoles.

They also share a pattern, which we have told you about earlier, with the Dunk. There are some heavy features in the form of mismatched details that get all the attention. Alongside the black leather, "Dark Chocolate" Swooshes make their presence felt, while "Copa" and "Pink Foam" hits complete the overall design.

We love the high-quality workmanship of the Dunks. The supple leather does not only feel good, but it also looks great. As the leather ages, it gets even softer, and the durable overlays recall the fresh basketball style of the '80s.

In other places, the ankles have additional protection with the thick padding for an improved wearing comfort that you can feel all day long. Finally, a lightweight and responsive foam midsole cushions every step for an energetic performance.

The different colourways of the Nike Dunk Low SE "Easter" and SE "Free.99" may take some getting used to, but after the monochromatic Dunks of the last few weeks, we are happy about this change. Similar Dunks will probably follow in larger intervals.
