Latest Pickup: The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 "Krusty Burger"

The Simpsons by Matt Groening has an uncanny reputation as a fortune teller. Crazy yet realistic moments — from Siegfried and Roy's white Bengal Tiger attack to Donald Trump's presidential election — were all part of the TV series.

However, hard-hitting and funny moments were also shown in the last 33 seasons and became a kind of revival of the family. Most recently, adidas took aim at the yellow family and honored the hit series with revamped sneakers inspired by the different characters.

But before releasing the pets, bartender Moe Szyslak and other characters in shoe form, adidas released this one-of-a-kind The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 "Krusty Burger." The first drop for the clown-inspired sneaker took place in February 2021, as part of the 26-part A-ZX series. While this is a long-ago release date, the shoes are still online and you can buy them. Other labels have also released a small The Simpsons collection, but for the "Krusty Burger," the partner has turned to adidas. The modernized ZX 10000 uses the colour palette of the TV clown's fast food franchise.

Krusty's made-up face forms the base colour of The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 "Krusty Burger." This is followed by brown overlays for the bread and small dots on the sides to represent the sesame seeds. Other highlights include the red overlays on the toeboxes for the clown nose, black outlines for the cartoonish aesthetic, and fluffy green heels reminiscent of the wig.

Athletes and sneakerheads love adidas' iconic ZX. The Herzogenaurach-based label turned the entire market on its head when they released the series with Torsion technology, addressing issues like supination and pronation in the lower half.

Above, adidas uses lightweight textiles that greatly reduce the weight of The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 "Krusty Burger," while high heel clips improve the grip of the sneaker. The soft midsoles then further cushion the steps  and the rubber soles provide the wearer with high traction.

Special lace locks in the shape of Krusty Burger logos give The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 "Krusty Burger" an additional personal touch. We especially love the bright colours on the sneaker and the special details on the back.
