Maharishi Announces Hemp-Covered LT Court with Reebok
Last week, Maharishi unveiled the cream-coloured Reebok LT Court Hemp for a natural feel. Hardy Blechman, founder of Maharishi, had this to say about the choice of hemp:
Hemp is one of the most versatile, resilient, and advanced plant families on earth, which makes it especially significant to Maharishi as a medium for product manufacturing. Hemp is a strong natural fibre that is naturally resistant to pests, reducing dependence on masses of harmful pesticides. After harvest, the decomposed roots also enrich and strengthen the soil in which they were grown.
On 28 October, the Maharishi x Reebok LT Court Hemp drops exclusively at Maharishi as well as the London shop. Reebok and selected retailers will then drop the sneaker on 7 November.
Founded by Hardy Blechman, Maharishi will soon be dropping a collaborative sneaker. Via Instagram, the British label has now shared this info. It shows a picture of a Reebok sneaker, which is constructed from hemp. Additionally, Maharishi confirms the collaboration with a short infographic "Maharishi x Reebok Hemp LT Court 28.10.22".
Considering current sneaker trends, the Reebok LT Court is not one of the most popular basketball shoes from the ’90s, but it has everything to become Reebok's most popular silhouette. Partners like Maharishi see that, too.
This Maharishi x Reebok LT Court is not made of traditional leather but from eco-friendly hemp. In between, olive details then complement the upper and outsole. Collaborative branding from Maharishi on the sides and yellowed midsoles then complete the overall design of the Maharishi x Reebok LT Court.
Release Info on the Maharishi x Reebok LT Court Drop
The collaborator has confirmed the drop of the Maharishi x Reebok LT Court for October 28th. However, it is still unclear whether the sneakers will also be released here.
