Matthew Williams Teases 1017 ALYX 9SM x Nike Collaboration

The founder of Alyx and current creative director of Givenchy, Matthew M. Williams, has published a teaser for the upcoming Nike AF1 collaboration on Instagram. We can expect two models in the coming months. Both variants feature subtle changes from the standard versions of the sneakers, including new silver detailing on the eyelets and Alyx branding on the heel. The project will also be available in the classic "Triple White" and "Triple Black" colour combinations. No details on the release of the new 1017 ALYX 9SM x Nike Air Force 1 have been announced yet, but we'll stay tuned and keep you posted.

Matthew Williams, Creative Director and co-founder of 1017 ALYX 9SM and Creative Director of Givenchy, has given us a first look at an upcoming collaboration with Nike. He uses the Air Force 1 Low silhouette as the basis for the design. Although he has already achieved success with the Air Force 1 High, which was presented in 2018 and released in 2020, he once again knows how to inspire his fans. Compared to the High model, which highlighted the brand's iconic buckle, the Air Force 1 Low looks rather plain, as it currently uses no hardware other than a shared brand symbol.
 
The various co-branding elements are perfectly placed on the side of the shoe as well as on the tongue and provide additional accents. The shoe was unveiled in black and white, but that shouldn't detract from the excitement. Williams himself has already announced the release for soon. We are excited and can hardly wait!
