MSCHF Drops High Heels for the Summer with the "Flipped Flop"

MSCHF, known for its bold and unconventional designs, will release its latest footwear innovation, the "Flipped Flop," on 30 July. This unique high heel is inspired by classic pool sandals, but reinterpreted with a playful twist. The Flipped Flop is characterised by an elongated silhouette that transitions into a 4.5" high heel, creating an eye-catching and unusual look.

The design includes an adjustable Velcro fastening at the ankle for flexibility and a fixed strap across the forefoot for a secure fit. The heel is fully rigid and includes a nylon shank for stability, while the comfortable EVA footbed and rubber sole ensure comfort despite the high rise. Available in a simple navy blue and white colourway, the flipped flop features MSCHF branding, 'Performance Sport' and a side decoration on the Velcro fastening.

MSCHF's Chief Creative Officers, Lukas Bentel and Kevin Wiesner, emphasise that the Flipped Flop, presented by celebrity interviewer Bobbi Althoff, is a continuation of the brand's ongoing exploration of unique footwear designs following the viral success of the Big Red Boot.

The MSCHF "Flipped Flop" is scheduled for release on 30 July 2024. This first high heel from MSCHF will be available for $450.
