The 75th birthday of the NBA is called the "Diamond Anniversary", and sporting goods manufacturer Jordan Brand is honouring this with special sneakers. The label has already introduced a special edition with the Air Jordan 1 Low "Diamond", and today, another version has just been announced. This time, we take a look at the official images of the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Diamond".

Last year, Mitchell & Ness and Nike released a series of jersey collections celebrating the anniversary. Nike later added other silhouettes like the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Fiesta", Dunk Low EMB "Knicks", and Air Force 1 "Lakers". But sneakerheads will probably find iterations like this black and white Air Jordan 1 Mid "Diamond" much more exciting.

A clear outline of the gem adorns the special tongue label with the Jumpman logo. Instead of a vibrant colourway like other models, the rest of the upper consists of a white leather base and black velvet overlays. White midsoles and translucent outsoles are then used underneath.

In Europe, the release of the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Diamond" is yet to be confirmed, but expect a drop on February 9th at nike.com and selected retailers.
