New Air Jordan 1 Mid Uses the Colours of the Brazilian Flag

Now, the official images of the adult size of the green-yellow Air Jordan 1 Mids are online. Presumably, the sneakers will drop soon at Nike and a few retailers. We'll keep an eye on things and let you know if there are any updates.

Many times, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has been held up for experimental colourways. More often than not, however, the outlandish themes have prevailed and sometimes even worked better than those of its high-top counterpart.

Later this year, the Mid variant will drop in a colourway that you certainly haven't seen before. We're calling the sneaker "Brazil" because the green and yellow colourway is reminiscent of the Brazilian flag.

Nike didn't mention the Brazil connection, of course, but the roots could have come from South America. An all-leather construction is dipped in white, green, and yellow, which is strongly reminiscent of the Nike Dunk Low "Brazil" released last year. The base, however, comes in white and the overlays in green. The collar and logos round things off in yellow.

You can take a look at the detailed pictures here. Unfortunately, no release date has been announced yet, but it's believed to drop in autumn 2021 at Nike and selected retailers.
