New at Jordan Brand: Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Jordan Brand has added another name to its portfolio. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays has just signed with the label, making him Jumpman's newest brand ambassador.

The young baseball star is 22 years old and the son of legend Vladimir Guerrero Sr. He took MLB by storm when he became the youngest member of the Blue Jays to hit a home run in his rookie campaign in 2019.

Shortly after, he even posted the highest Exit Velocity in the league among qualified hitters that same year. After 86 games this season, Vlad is batting .337 with 28 home runs and 73 RBIs, establishing himself as an American League MVP candidate. On the day Vladimir Guerrero Jr. signed with Jordan Brand, the baseball player talked about the signing, his father, and what family means to him.

"I'm very happy. I never saw MJ play in real life, but as a kid I watched his videos. He is an inspiration to me, as someone who worked hard every day, he stepped on the court — to give the best of himself. To be part of this family makes me very proud," said Guerrero Jr.
