New Balance Adds Hiking Shoe Elements to Its 2002R
Thanks to a number of collaborations, the New Balance 2002R has been moving further and further into the spotlight since 2020. With this power, the sporting goods manufacturer has continued to work and most recently introduced a series of inline releases. Next up, New Balance takes its 2002R hiking, as the latest model features Toe Protect panels and metal eyelets.
The more robust construction is also joined by a traditional colour palette. The upper is made of brown leather, while other muted hits like forest green or navy blue appear in between. New Balance N logos on the side contrast with the green trim, and the collar mixes in a dark blue.
The red laces and yellow heels only enhance the feel of an outdoor sneaker. Additionally, the fronts have Toe Protect reinforcement, and there are metal eyelets on the eyestays. Furthermore, the midsole has an unobtrusive patent finish, and the toeboxes are made of leather.
Don't Miss the Release of the New Balance 2002R
So far, the New Balance 2002R with hiking shoe elements has only been released at New Balance Korea. It is possible that the sneakers will be released in Europe at a later date.
