New Balance and atmos Choose a Breathtaking Backdrop for the Launch of the 2002R "Oasis"

Few sneakerheads knew that atmos and New Balance have known each other since the ’80s. Back then, they worked on the New Balance 576 as well as 996 and released the sneakers in very wild colours. But now, things are getting very quiet and cool around the two labels, as the Japanese retailer and the sports giant from the USA have confirmed this 2002R "Oasis".

The atmos x New Balance 2002R "Oasis" takes its name from the refreshing water reservoirs in the desert. Therefore, the sneaker also has a bright blue-green logo on the middle sides. The hue also carries over to the N-ERGY gel on the heel, and various hits of grey and brown refine the design.

The atmos x New Balance 2002R "Oasis" also features a variety of materials, from breathable mesh to buttery soft leather and suede. It's all combined with earthy hues to better represent a dry desert.

Only a few fans and sneakerheads can get their hands on the atmos x New Balance 2002R "Oasis". Currently, it is expected to drop at atmos stores on October 28th.
