New Nike Air Max 97 Joins the Plant-Based Pack

Have we already seen the end of Nike's Plant Based collection? Now, images of another Nike sneaker joining the floral pack and is rumoured to be dropping soon have been uploaded. The latest model is a dark Nike Air Max 97 "Cork Obsidian" with a navy upper and cork that strongly resembles the Air Max 95.

Light canvas also serves as the base of this sneaker. On top of that, wavy overlays with a similar hue and brown stitching on the lower part contrast on the dark background. Lastly, we take a look at the intricate embroidery that decorates the tongues.

Typical graphics again complement the sneakers with green leaves and other details, while cork-like soles further extend the organic approach.

We've already seen numerous plant-based Nike sneakers, but the Nike Air Max 97 "Cork Obsidian" is the first AM97 in the pack. If the rumours are true, the sneakers will drop on April 29th and possibly the other sneakers as well.
