The year 2022 hasn't been the best year for the Nike Air Max 1, with only a few iterations released despite it being the silhouette's 35th anniversary year. However, things are heating up in the final months as Nike confirms a sleek Air Max 1 "Burgundy Crush" with premium materials and gold detailing.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the classic is here in a completely tonal look. Plush suede works with tumbled, buttery soft leather overlays in muted "Burgundy Crush" hits. The earthy look is also carried over to the tongues, which feature leather labels alongside luxurious gold eyelets.
At the very back, the Nike Air Max 1 "Burgundy Crush" gets even more animalistic. A reptile-like structure wraps around the heel caps with Nike embossing. All of this rests on a brown sole that matches the colour of the overall package.
