The legendary and rare Nike Air Presto PE "AUS" receives its first major release this year. The sneakers, known as "T-Shirt For your Feet", celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2020 and finally drop in retail.

Nike originally designed the "AUS" for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia and gave the models away to friends, family and Australian athletes.

The model has a colourway that fits the theme. The design team took the inspiration from the Olympic Committee and dyed the shoe in a blue-green shade as well as added details reminiscent of the flag. Five embroidered yellow stars on the toe box are a reference to the flag, which also have the same arrangement, while the circular embroidered badge on the tongue features a combined graphic.

The same theme is also found on the heel. "AUS" is printed on the back heel clip and rounded off with white heel tabs. Don't be surprised about the sizes, because the shoes come with standard t-shirt sizes. The sizes go from "XS" (US 5-7) to "XL" (US 13-15).

Where Will the Rare Nike Air Presto PE "AUS" Be Released?

For the launch, Nike is relying on Australian retailers. SUPPLY Store is giving away the sneakers on July 17th for approximately 110£. A worldwide release has unfortunately not been mentioned yet, but it would likely be possible.
