Nike Celebrates Iconic "The One Line" Prototype Series with new AF1 "NAI-KE"

Back to 1980, when Nike explored a fresh wave of swoosh-free sneakers made by one of their Chinese factories. Although Nike has not regularly celebrated the iconic series of prototypes "The One Line", recent years have shown that Nike still has a soft spot for the series. For 2023, the Swoosh will also celebrate with another AF1 "NAI-KE". The latest version eschews the recently unveiled sashiko patterns and natural-dyed canvas, opting instead for a striking panel influenced by traditional basket weaving techniques.

The sneakers are mainly dressed in soft cream leather and the middle panels and tongues showcase a woven texture, the former reminiscent of a hemp fabric while the latter features a classic canvas. Above this is a unique woven panel that extends around the back and connects to the rear overlay. A suede Swoosh in a harmonious cream shade adds another layer to the design. Light tan leather adorns the interior and insole, while luxurious leather tags and dubraes on the tongue add an extra touch of sophistication. Other details include NAI-KE branding on the heel, green eyelets, tonal heel accents and a subtle rubber sole. The epitome of style, comfort and elegance, these sneakers are sure to grab everyone's attention.
