Nike Celebrates the 50th Anniversary of UNO with the Air Force 1

Update 20.01.2022

Today, we've pushed the UNO x Nike Air Force 1 in kids sizes in our German Grailify app. But perhaps the next sneakers will drop soon, because today, Nike has released the official images of the UNO x Nike Zoom Freak 3 in the colourways "Photo Blue" and "University Red". You can also find more details in our Grailify app.

Update 28.10.2021
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rest of the Milwaukee Bucks basketball players are chasing that second championship ring, and along the way, the talent is spicing up his sneakers with his favourite card game, UNO by Mattel. Alongside the UNO x Nike Air Force 1 shown, a big, colourful collection has now been unveiled. The 50th anniversary will be joined by a Nike Zoom Freak 3, sandals, and matching apparel.

"I want every product to be real and authentic, and playing UNO with my brothers is a big part of our lives," said Giannis Antetokounmpo. "The Nike team did a great job bringing my ideas to life, and I think they created something for every Nike, UNO, and basketball fan with this collection."

Additionally, Nike and UNO are dropping a special pack of cards on 11 November via Mattel Creations and NTWRK. The sneakers and apparel will be released through Nike in the coming weeks and months.

The popular card game UNO is turning 50, and of course, Nike is celebrating its anniversary in a big way with a special Air Force 1 Pack. For this milestone, the label has designed a capsule with three UNO-inspired AF1 Lows for the whole family. They are very eye-catching and remind us of the legendary card game by Mattel with their vibrant colours and details.

Red, green, blue, and yellow are the basic colours of the card game, and the design of the UNO x Nike Air Force 1 refers to the traditional colours. The blue mudguards, red centre panels, green heel tabs, and yellow Swooshes create a colourful pattern. Additionally, the black heels and white eyestays remind us of perhaps the least popular card in the game, where everyone probably wants to pull the UNO x Nike Air Force 1.

Other great branding includes UNO logos on the heels, while the "50th Anniversary" prints on the blue insoles round out the design of the official UNO and Nike collaboration.

Don't Miss the Release of the UNO x Nike Air Force 1

The family fun will be available for young and old. Official pictures of the UNO x Nike Air Force 1 in different sizes have already confirmed this. Take an advance look at the GS version images here and expect a drop this year.
