Update 08.03.2024

The official images of the Nike Air Max 1 "King's Day" are online. Unfortunately, there is no release date yet, but since King's Day is on April 27, it could be that the sneaker will be released on the same day. You can find the link to the sneaker and a list of all retailers above.

In recent months, the iconic Nike Air Max 1 has been very quiet. But for Dutch King's Day, which will be celebrated on 27 April 2024, Nike is releasing a limited edition Air Max 1 with high-quality materials.

The Nike AM1 already achieved cult status years ago. 33 years ago, the Beaverton-based brand presented the Air Unit with a small window in the sole, which was a talking point at the time. This silhouette has been particularly popular in the Netherlands for decades, so it's no surprise that Nike has chosen the Air Max 1 of all things to honour the Dutch bank holidays.

The colourway of this particular shoe is of course no coincidence either. The mix of brown and orange tones is perfectly coordinated with the "Huis van Oranje".

How can I buy the Nike Air Max 1 "King's Day"?

No date has yet been officially announced. However, King's Day has been celebrated in the Netherlands since the enthronement of King Willem-Alexander on 27 April. It therefore stands to reason that the shoe will be released shortly beforehand. As soon as there is any concrete information, we will of course let you know!
