Nike Presents New Upcycling Programme in Collaboration with Greater Goods

Nike is committed to the future of athletes and sport. The company aims to develop solutions that are better for both athletes and the planet. As part of this, Nike is presenting its Re-Creation programme in London this week in collaboration with London-based design project Greater Goods, founded by Jaimus Tailor.

The new upcycled collection clearly shows that Nike is not only moving with the times, but also acting responsibly. The result is a stylish collection with sustainable materials that benefits both athletes and the environment. There is no miracle solution in the fight against climate change, but local collection, production and distribution has the potential to reduce our footprint on this world. Using circular design principles as a creative process, Nike's Re-Creation programme fulfils this promise threefold: with locally collected obsolete product, locally repurposed into wearable condition and locally distributed.

In collaboration with Parisian designer Sarah Moh, the collection will be presented in Paris, and in London you can look forward to an exclusive capsule collection of 25 pieces. At the moment release dates are not known, but it is expected to be released this month.
