Nike Sends Its Air Force 1 "Satellite" Into Orbit

We'll be seeing more of the Nike Air Force 1 this year as Bruce Kilgore's silhouette celebrates its 40th anniversary. Unlike other celebrations, the sportswear label is pulling out all the stops, dropping the AF1 in multiple colourways and collabs. Here, the Nike Air Force 1 "Satellite" leaves us and arrives on orbit.

This version of the classic sneaker is very spaced out as a satellite orbits the Nike Air Force 1 "Satellite". The rest of the model looks more like Nike is testing new materials and textures. Atypical lace locks and technical lettering adorn the heels. Furthermore, the base and overlays are made of robust materials and are entirely brown.

However, the heel tabs and Swooshes are among the most striking details, as they feature a holographic finish. The light hits the surface and creates a nebulous distortion. Last but not least, icy outsoles and satellite tongue tags round off the design of the Nike Air Force 1 "Satellite".

Don't Miss the Release of the Nike Air Force 1 "Satellite"
