Nike has dropped the Space Jam: A New Legacy collection. You can now buy many pieces from the capsule in the shop. Unfortunately, some pieces are still missing, but they will probably be released at a later date. Here you can find the link to the shop.
The release of the highly anticipated movie "Space Jam: A New Legacy" is only a few weeks away. On July 15th, we will finally see LeBron James form a basketball team with the Looney Tunes characters and face off against an evil artificial intelligence in an epic match.
Fittingly, Nike has finally unveiled the full collection for the film — and there's a lot to discover here!
One of the producers of the second Space Jam film, Maverick Carter, hopes audiences will get the feeling of going on a journey with the characters and following the team's ups and downs.
"The biggest moment in the film for our characters is the final game," says Carter. "It culminates in this epic showdown with real consequences for all the players. The game is important. So, when a kid sees the characters wearing Nike gear, their imagination makes the connection that Nike gives you the tools to discover the best version of yourself."
Space Jam: A New Legacy Apparel
In the film, there are two All-Star teams. The "Tune Squad" and the "Goon Squad." Nike has created matching outfits for both teams. The Nike and LeBron Dri-FIT jerseys are made of smooth, shiny Durasheen fabric with a print and sewn-on twill logos showcasing the motifs of the two All-Star teams. There are also other outfits such as a college jacket, a hoodie, t-shirts, and joggers.
Space Jam: A New Legacy Sneaker Collection
The Space Jam: A New Legacy Sneaker Collection includes a range of Nike LeBron 18 Lows in the popular split-colour style inspired by the iconic Looney Tunes characters: Bugs vs. Marvin the Martian, Tweety Bird vs. Sylvester, and Road Runner vs. Wile E. Coyote.
The film even features LeBron's latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 19, designed by Jason Petrie.
The shoe collection is rounded off by the Air Force 1 Low, two new Converse Chuck 70s, and a Pro Leather Low modelled on Lola Bunny.
Release of the Space Jam: A New Legacy Collection
Nike has not yet given an exact release date, but it is known that the collection will drop before — or with — the film. So, you can assume that the entire collection will be released in the first two weeks of July. We'll keep you updated, of course!
