Nike's New Dunk Low "Doernbecher" Has Zebra Overlays

This Nike Dunk Low "Doernbecher" was designed by Zoe Taaffe, who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. It is so rare that it occurs in only one in 1.2 million pediatric patients.

Stabilising Zoe required multiple blood transfusions, plasma transfusions, and chemotherapy. The long hospital stays were not fun for Zoe, but they gave her a good insight into her chosen profession.

"I have always loved the medical field and originally wanted to be a surgeon," Zoe explains. "But after being in hospital, I decided I wanted to be a nurse. My nursing team has a special place in my heart because they showed me the importance of kindness and compassion. I would like to bring that kind of positivity to the medical field."

Her Nike Dunk Low "Doernbecher" features a fancy pattern. The middle section of yellow and green is slightly reminiscent of the "Brazil" Dunk Low, while the adjacent sections are adorned with a zebra pattern. Additionally, the Swooshes can be interchanged for a personalised style.
