The new year will bring back at least one familiar version. Official images of the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Xing Qi" have now confirmed this news, which was first introduced in 2007. Jordan Brand released this colourway designed to celebrate the opening of Nike retail shops across China.

Then in 2013, the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Xing Qi" returned for the second time, but this time very limited and with the "Nike Air" branding on the tongues. Almost 10 years later, we get to see the coveted Air Jordan 1 Mid "Xing Qi" on shelves for the third time, with a design that is more similar to its OG counterpart.

For the new colourway, Jordan Brand uses a gold Jumpman logo on the tongues. It matches the colour of the laces, Swooshes, and Wings logo, while the rest of the colourway is reminiscent of the OG colourway. Finally, artistic contrast stitching and embossing round off the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Xing Qi" (2022) perfectly.
