Official Images of the Nike Air Max CB 94 OG "Pure Purple"

Charles Barkley may be the target of countless jokes when it comes to his missing NBA rings, but the Hall of Famer boasts an iconic sneaker line. Recently, the Nike Air Max CB 94 resurfaced in its original "Black/White/Varsity Purple" colour scheme in official photos. The pair appears to be a one-to-one copy of the style the silhouette debuted with almost 30 years ago.
 
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Max sneaker has been a symbol of Nike's glory days in basketball for decades. Built tall and sturdy, yet lightweight, the shoe has stood the test of time like few other performance shoes from the era. The majority of the upper is kept black and white, while breathable mesh tongues and details around the air bladder get a purple finish. The inner shoe follows this concept and gives the shoe a touch of Phoenix Suns flair. Overall, Sir Charles' legendary Nike shoe is back where it belongs. Release details are not available, but an April drop is expected.
