In celebration of this year's Olympic Games, Nike SB has unveiled the SB PS8 Olympic, a dynamic skate shoe that honours both the sporting event and the legacy of Nike employee Sandy Bodecker. Known for his significant contributions to Nike SB, the PS8, short for Problem Solver 8, reflects Bodecker's innovative spirit.

The Nike SB PS8 Olympic features a rugged upper made from a combination of TPU, leather and mesh for both durability and breathability. The eye-catching safari print details on the mudguard and heel counter add an adventurous touch to the design. Flyknit panels in phantom tones seamlessly match the leather eye patches, creating a harmonious aesthetic.

A pop of colour is provided by the eye-catching blue laces, which contrast with the Monarch orange tones on the vamp, insole and Nike SB branding on the tongue. The sole design includes a blue and semi-translucent rubber midsole that encases a foam compound for comfort, while the grippy semi-translucent rubber outsole with an orange nylon plate provides extra grip and stability for skaters.

The Nike SB PS8 Olympic will be released on 24 July 2024.
