The Comme des Garçons x Naomi Osaka x Nike Blazer Mid "Home is Where the Heart is" seems to be dropping soon. Nike has announced the sneaker for December 5th at all CDG and DSM shops as well as in DSM e-shops. A matching t-shirt will also be available.

Long-standing partner Comme des Garçons is an integral part of the Nike family. Countless iterations have been released together with CDG, and no pair resembles an earlier version. Now, the fashion label sneaks into our thoughts once again with a new Blazer Mid. The new collaboration is a three-way collab with Nike's usual partner Naomi Ōsaka.

Naomi Ōsaka is a famous tennis player, and for her, the way was not easy. Nevertheless, she made it to the top and was voted number 1 by the Women's Tennis Association. At just 23 years old, the young talent is now also releasing a collab with world-famous sportswear manufacturer Nike.

The collaborative Nike Blazer Mid convinces with its casual style and some fashionable updates. The base doesn't seem to have changed much as the background and other important parts like the sole and tongue are light. The material is not made of smooth leather but a robust canvas. On the large panels, we then see repeated prints of Comme des Garçons and Naomi Osaka, while her signature "Home is where the heart is" rounds off the overall design.

The official pictures of the Comme des Garçons x Naomi Osaka x Nike Blazer Mid are already out. So, the release is probably not that far away. We're suspecting a drop in November 2020.
