Parra x Nike SB with Layered Swoosh on the Blazer Low and SB Dunk Low
The Dutch graphic designer Piet Parra loves to skate in white sneakers. So it was very clear to the 43-year-old artist from the beginning to combine his hobby and his preference for light colors to create a phenomenal sneaker for fans out there. The result was two clean white sneakers made of leather with a multi-layered Swoosh in pink/red/blue.
"I knew I wanted to make a shoe in which I would skate, but also appeal to people who are more into my use of color and drawings. So I came to the colorful layered Swoosh and the crazy pattern on the inside of the shoe," says Piet Parra about his sneaker concept.
Parra embellished both the Blazer and the Dunk designs with pink chenille, providing a one-of-a-kind texture to both styles. The layered Swoosh gives the shoe a unique dimension, plus the entire line comes with other pieces as well such as caps, polos, T-shirts, and trousers.
