Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll" returns for Patta's 20th anniversary

The long-awaited return of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Chlorophyll’ is finally confirmed, marking 15 years since the original release and Patta's 20th anniversary. The updated version stays true to the original, with minimal changes such as a new €20 insole design and a new thematic box. The launch is scheduled for 13 September, with the shoe available in Lagos, Nigeria as early as 12 September.

Nike and Amsterdam-based streetwear retailer Patta are celebrating Patta's 20th anniversary with the re-release of the iconic Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll". Originally released in 2009, this highly anticipated sneaker will make a comeback in autumn 2024, much to the delight of sneakerheads who missed the original release.

The "Chlorophyll" Air Max 1 retains its classic design, with a breathable mesh base, nubuck overlays and denim accents. The sneaker's colour palette includes a white base, complemented by grey overlays and signature chlorophyll accents on the Swoosh logos, mudguards, tongue labels, upper eyelets and the front toe area of the sole. The design is completed with a white midsole with visible Air units in the heels and a white and black rubber outsole.

Patta co-founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume 'Gee' Schmidt recently teased the reissue on Instagram by wearing the sneakers with Nigerian singer Tems, who was holding a special 20th Anniversary shoe box in chlorophyll green in the same picture.

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll" will be released in autumn 2024.

The sneakers will be available at Patta, selected Nike Sportswear retailers and online at Nike.com. The retail price is €160.
