PLEASURES and Reebok Make the Classic Leather Fit for the Terrain
The collaboration between streetwear label PLEASURES and sportswear brand Reebok goes into the next round. Over the past few years, they have reinterpreted various classic Reebok silhouettes together. A number of collaborations are planned again for 2023, including the Classic Leather Trail and the Nano 6000, but the Classic Leather Trail will launch first and was officially announced this week. What is particularly striking about this model is the extended lacing system that wraps around the heel.
The iconic shape of the Classic Leather is used for a new, trail-ready version. Alex James, co-founder of PLEASURES, says they wanted to focus on "creating the ideal transition from road to trail". The result is a sneaker in "Neon Mint/Core Black" that impresses with precise specifications. The CORDURA upper provides durability, the robust rubber sole and heel area for durability. A full-length lacing wraps the shoe and gives it a special look. Along with co-branding on the midsole and sock lining, the shoe will be launched by Reebok on May 12th. PLEASURES is already launching the sneaker on May 5th.
