The Nike Air Max 1 is a personal favourite. Originally launched in 1987, the silhouette was the first Nike Air shoe to feature an exposed Air unit, allowing you to see the then-fresh cushioning technology at work as you walked. Runners in particular praised the sneaker for its stability and durability, while the growing world of sneakerheads loved the timeless look.

Now, the Nike Air Max 1 is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2022. To mark the occasion, the sporting goods company has designed a series of new special releases to honour the legendary running shoe, like this fresh Nike Air Max 1 "Treeline", which is rumoured to be dropping soon.

Nike hasn't confirmed it yet, but it seems like the Nike Air Max 1 "Treeline" is inspired by the "Skunk" colourway. It mixes light browns with leather and mesh, with the suede mudguard and heels in a rich-green hue. Lastly, the purple Swooshes and tongue label follow suit.
