After almost three months, we can finally take a proper look at the Gallery Dept. x ASICS GT-2160! It's now much easier to see how the upper is made up of the classy silver, light blue and clean white. The extent of the colour splashes has now also been revealed and you can see that almost the entire front of the shoe has been covered with the splashes. ASICS is really letting it rip with the GT-2160 Revival campaign: Only relaunched in June, the iconic running shoe has quickly played itself into the limelight with new brand ambassador Stefon Diggs and staged by Dime, Above the Clouds and Cecilie Bahnsen. Now the brand can rejoice in another prestigious collaboration with GALLERY DEPT. First images of a GT-2160 specially designed for the collaboration have surfaced online. While the images only show sections of the shoe, they already reveal details such as a co-branded yellow insole, a GALLERY DEPT. Pendant and fresh blue accents on the upper, which is otherwise dominated by white, silver and black mesh.
 
The ASICS GT-2160 was designed by GALLERY DEPT. founder Josue Thomas, who decorated the shoe with splashes of colour like a painting. Although Thomas has done this in the past, this is the first official ASICS project with him. Fans of both brands can look forward to the release, which will be available on the GALLERY DEPT. website later this year.
