3sixteen x Saucony Peregrine 15 "Gesso"

With the ‘Gesso’ collection, 3sixteen, in collaboration with Saucony, presents a very special version of the Peregrine 15: a technical trail runner becomes a creative canvas. The name is derived from the painting medium of the same name used to prepare canvases – in the same way, this shoe serves as a basis for individual design, sustainable upcycling and personal expression.

Four colourways are available at launch: Indigo, Sunflower, Granite and Rubia, all of which have been hand-dyed with natural pigments by Green Matters Natural Dye Co. in Pennsylvania. The dyes range from GOTS-certified indigo to weld flowers, chestnut, iron and madder root. As each colour reacts differently to the materials, each pair has unique colour gradients.

The base is a minimalist beige suede upper with a rubber sole – deliberately kept simple so that wearers can further customise the shoe as they wish. 3sixteen invites you to further personalise the sneakers with coffee, plant dyes or other DIY methods – either immediately after purchase or while wearing them.

The first drop, featuring the Indigo and Sunflower colourways, will take place on 17 July 2025 for €180. The Granite and Rubia variants will follow later in the month. A completely undyed version called ‘Blank Canvas’ will also be released – perfect for DIY fans.
