TLDR: A Ma Maniére brings a breath of fresh air to the Y2K revival with the Nike V5 RNR ‘Light Carbon’, a technically inspired retro runner in muted purple and beige tones. The sneaker will be released in spring 2026 for €100 – and is just the beginning of a whole colourway pack. As always, more information is available at Grailify. A Ma Maniére and Nike are expanding their successful collaboration history – this time far removed from the classic Jordan series. Instead of retro icons, the Nike V5 RNR focuses on an almost forgotten Y2K tech model that is now making a comeback as a lifestyle runner.
The first colourway, ‘Light Carbon’, combines a breathable grey mesh upper with synthetic overlays in desert khaki and fig, complemented by light blue Swooshes. Despite its sporty origins, the vibe remains classy and minimalist – typical of A Ma Maniére. Refined material contrasts and a cushioned sole unit provide comfort and structure, while large logos have been dispensed with – the luxury lies in the details.
Only the ‘Light Carbon’ version has been officially confirmed so far, but according to leak sources, we can expect a whole 7-piece colourway pack. Other shades such as Sail, Geode Teal, Light Violet Ore, Fiberglass and even Soft Pink are set to follow – a welcome change from the otherwise very restrained AMM colour palette.
