In short: the adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 ‘Grey’ is a good and affordable alternative to Pharrell Williams' hyped Jellyfish sneaker. With a touch of Y2K and a stylish design, the sneaker will be released on 15 November 2025 for €140. As always, you can find all further information at Grailify. The new adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 ‘Grey’ brings cool, futuristic running aesthetics and oversized silhouettes to the sneaker game – much like Pharrell's extremely popular Jellyfish model. The Jellyfish is limited edition and has cool TPU details, while the Adistar XLG 2.0 looks similar but is made for the masses.
The upper is made of mesh with layered TPU overlays in various shades of grey that run across the entire upper. The sole is really voluminous and has a wide heel, reminiscent of the Adistar Cushion 3 from the 2000s, but thanks to modern materials and a clean design, it looks much fresher.
Internally, they call the shoe ‘Squidfish’ because it looks like a jellyfish. The eye-catching TPU stripes are not too much, but still an eye-catcher. Compared to the Pharrell model, the Adistar XLG 2.0 is significantly cheaper and is set to be released in several colourways in the coming months.
