With the Adistar XLG 2.0 ‘Solar Orange’, adidas offers a more affordable alternative to Pharrell Williams' hyped Jellyfish sneaker. The model has many of the eye-catching design codes – such as the voluminous silhouette, curved overlays and technical sole – but in a more accessible design language.

The upper is made of mesh and sturdy TPU overlays in bright Solar Orange, combined with black, silver and white for a strong contrast. The sole has a striking design, with an extended heel area reminiscent of the old performance models from the 2000s.

As with the well-known XLG line, for example the Superstar XLG, the principle of ‘oversized meets retro running’ is also evident here. The modern parts make the shoe a real eye-catcher, based on the successful formula of the Jellyfish – and best of all, it's much cheaper.

The sneaker will be available on Friday, 15 November 2025, for €140.
