With the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3, adidas is launching one of the most advanced marathon shoes of all time. The third generation of this performance racer has been completely optimised for speed and efficiency and, for the first time, breaks the magical 100-gram barrier – weighing in at just around 97 grams, it’s a true lightweight.

At its heart is the new Lightstrike Pro Evo Foam, which is not only significantly lighter than its predecessor but also delivers noticeably higher energy return. This is supported by the innovative ENERGYRIM technology, which combines carbon elements with cushioning to improve stability and propulsion. According to adidas, the shoe is 30% lighter, delivers 11% more energy return in the forefoot and increases running efficiency by 1.6%.

The upper has also been radically streamlined: ultra-lightweight materials, inspired by kitesurf sails, ensure maximum breathability with minimal weight. Strategically placed Continental™ rubber is used under the sole, providing grip without adding unnecessary bulk.
