With the Adizero Dropset Elite, adidas is launching a specially developed shoe for the growing world of hybrid training. Disciplines such as HYROX or CrossFit demand both speed and stability – and this is exactly where the new model comes in.

The design combines technologies from various performance sectors. The upper is made of lightweight, breathable mesh, ensuring comfort during intense workouts. At the same time, the integrated FOOTADAPT insole supports control and a direct feel for the ground.

Underfoot, a double layer of LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam is used, ensuring maximum energy return – inspired by adidas’ racing shoes. The setup is complemented by a carbon ENERGY RIM and the well-known Energyrods system, which together ensure a stable yet dynamic motion.

Despite its performance focus, stability remains a key factor. The construction offers secure support during quick changes of direction, whilst the Continental outsole provides reliable grip on a variety of surfaces.

Visually, the trainer features a sporty “White/Solar Red” colourway, which further emphasises its high-performance character.
