With the Anthony Edwards 2, adidas is taking the next step in Ant Man’s signature line. The second silhouette looks more technically advanced and significantly more aggressive than its predecessor, yet remains clearly inspired by the NBA star’s energetic style.

The “Lime Burst” colourway combines a black mesh upper with bright green details on the cage, branding and toe box. Particularly striking are the jagged TPU elements along the midsole, some of which even glow in the dark, giving the trainer a futuristic look.

The model has also been further developed technically. Instead of the AE1’s heavily TPU-based construction, adidas is now relying more on breathable mesh, new stability structures and carbon fibre details in the heel area. This makes the shoe feel lighter, faster and significantly more dynamic on the court.

Underfoot, the focus remains firmly on agility, responsiveness and explosive movements – in keeping with Anthony Edwards’ playing style. The blend of performance tech and eye-catching design could once again make the AE2 one of the most important basketball trainers of the year.
